?? Salary: $110,000-$140,000 (commensurate with experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead and oversee the accounting operations of our long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital. This is a key leadership role ideal for a hands-on finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and enjoys mentoring a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare and deliver financial statements and management reports
  • Coordinate and support annual audits
  • Supervise, develop, and mentor accounting staff, fostering growth and operational excellence

Required Qualifications

  • Hospital accounting experience required, specifically within a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare financial reporting and compliance
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
